Jim Bound

Jim Bound Chief Technical Officer, IPv6 Forum Jim Bound is the IPv6 Forum Chief Technology Officer, Chair of the North American IPv6 Task Force, Hewlett Packard Fellow, and is an active contributor within the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) standards body. Jim was a member of the IETF IP Next Generation Directorate, who selected IPv6 in 1994 as the Next Generation Internet Protocol. Jim has been focused on networking as an engineer and architect to build products since 1978.   Jim is an IPv6 Forum recipient of the distinguished IPv6 Forum Internet Pioneer Award as the IPv6 Lead Plumber. Jim, as CTO IPv6 Forum, is working with the Internet Society on the Security Expert Initiative project as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as liaison to industry and government, and is networking SME within the IPv6 Forum world wide.
