This conference will provide attendees two days of IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) technology knowledge transfer to assist participants at the conference with the planning and systems analysis for IPv6 deployment. CAv6TF networking will take place, and IPv6 subject matter experts will discuss the architectural principles, technology advantages, mobility, transition, security, porting of applications, MetroNet6 and other topics in depth.

In addition the conference will present use cases and models for deployment using public sector, enterprise, and consumer examples to demonstrate why, what, and how to deploy IPv6 in those network environments. The summit will provide background on the newly formed MetroNet6 project, which brings IPv6 based communication systems to metropolitan regions.
